JOB SUMMARY

The Muntin bar assembler is responsible for putting a strip of aluminum separating and holding panes of glass in a window. This role is in charge of putting the muntins between adjoining window units. The Muntins are the narrow strips that divide the individual pane of glass in a traditional sash.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Comply with Boral Safety Policies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Assembles units or parts and positions fastens and aligns units to assemblies by using various hand and power tools
• Aligns parts properly
• Follow assembly process requirements
• Software and computer skills knowledge
• Operate in an SAP environment
• Perform other duties and responsibilities requested by the supervisor
• Performs operations on machinery according to schedule
• Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility
